Kyle Brown is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 18 years of experience in diverse healthcare settings, including pediatrics, communicable disease management, integrated family practice, and outpatient psychiatry. As a long-time Colorado resident, he is deeply committed to improving access to high-quality mental health care and helping patients achieve meaningful improvements in both emotional well-being and daily functioning.
Kyle earned his graduate degree from Regis University in Denver and provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for a wide range of conditions, including ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma-related conditions, and stress-related burnout.
His treatment philosophy emphasizes thoughtful, evidence-based medication management combined with brief, practical psychotherapy. Sessions are collaborative and focused on building coping skills, improving resilience, and supporting real-world behavioral change.
A unique feature of his practice is Inner Peace Trait Integration™, an experiential psychotherapy approach that helps patients translate emotional insight into actionable steps for growth. This structured intervention uses symbolic trait-based exercises to enhance engagement in treatment, strengthen coping strategies, and promote long-term psychological resilience.
Kyle works closely with therapists, primary care providers, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. He strives to create a respectful, stigma-free environment where individuals feel supported in actively participating in their treatment and recovery.
Outside of clinical work, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family, taking road trips, playing guitar, and participating in board-game nights with friends.
